Segovia Aqueduct
The Segovia Aqueduct is a towering Roman feat of engineering, dating from the 1st to 2nd century AD, that channels water into the city with a dramatic line of stone arches. Built from unmortared granite blocks, it remains one of the best-preserved aqueducts in Europe and a defining symbol of Segovia’s historic skyline. Visitors stroll along the Plaza del Azoguejo to admire its soaring arches, then rise along its length to glimpse the old town perched above. It pairs immersive history with photogenic reflections and a sense of ancient ingenuity.
