Racławice Panorama
The Racławice Panorama is a monumental cyclorama housed in a purpose-built rotunda of the National Museum in Wrocław. Painted in 1894 by Jan Styka and Wojciech Kossak, it depicts the 1794 Battle of Racławice with thousands of figures and detailed landscapes. Visitors step into the circular arena, experiencing 180-degree horizon with dramatic lighting and accompanying exhibits that explain Kościuszko Uprising. It's a must for history and art lovers, offering immersive, cinematic storytelling. Expect a hush as the painted panorama comes to life under dim lighting, and nearby galleries showcase the era's history and artifacts.
