Kadriorg Park
Kadriorg Park, just east of Tallinn’s historic old town, is a grand 18th‑century landscape created by Peter the Great for his wife Catherine I. Its crown jewel is the Baroque Kadriorg Palace, surrounded by meticulously tended lawns, fountains, and statues, linked by broad avenues and picturesque ponds. Visitors can stroll shaded avenues, rent bikes, or picnic on crisp summer days, then explore the museum complex inside the palace and the adjacent Kumu art museum nearby. The park blends regal grandeur with family-friendly spaces, cultural highlights, and easy, scenic walks.
