The monument in honour of the first president of the Turkish Republic was erected in Alanya on one of the central squares in 1933. In the centre of the composition is the decisive figure of the leader with his hand raised in greeting (as if he is making a speech to the people and calling his supporters to fight). On the right side of him stands a girl with an olive branch, on the left – a young man with a Turkish flag. The sculptures are on a low pedestal against the background of a white stele.
