We had a fantastic time in Belfast, the city felt so laid back compared to others. We tried to fit in a lot of stuff while there but could have stayed longer and done more! We did a lot of exploring around the city and docks. We loved the Titanic Belfast museum and SS Nomadic, which were very interesting. We also visited the Botanic gardens which were lovely.

Belfast is a charming city with friendly people.

Belfast is a charming city with friendly people. There are some great areas for shopping and hanging out, like the Cathedral Quarter, and a few areas of interest like the Titanic Museum and Ulster Museum. However, you can tell that the city's tourism industry is new. Signage for locating things is poor in many areas, for instance, there is no signage in the Botanical Gardens directing you to the museum and no sign on the museum that says "Museum". You also need to meet the Hop-On Hop-Off buses at City Hall for your first ride, and there are no signs directing you to City Hall. Also, received cards from several taxi companies with no directions for how people from other countries can call them. Sure they are missing a lot of business this way.

Belfast is a great city - interesting things to see and do.

Belfast is a great city - interesting things to see and do. Night life and restaurants are good and busy. Highlights outside the city - but easily reached are Giants Causeway, Stormont Castle and Hillsborough Palace. The Hop on hop off bus is a good way to get a quick view of Belfast city and the history. The Titanic Museum was a highlight of our visit to the City.
