Everything about this hotel is outstanding. The location is superb, the staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Rocio was especially helpful. The room and bathroom were spotless and the beds comfortable. Tea and coffee service in room. The hotel was beautifully renovated from historic buildings to provide modern comfort. The views from the room were spectacular. Hands down the best hotel we stayed at in Spain.

It's a very unique experience.
We were welcomed by Veronica, a very dedicated and special person. The hotel is exceptionally well located and unique, and we were informed beforehand about every step to get there. Our room was clean, well decorated, silent, comfy bed, with a balcony to the square. Shower is very good, bathroom lighting too.
Veronica helped us to book a restaurant nearby and gave us great tips.

Toledo for us, was the highlight of our trip to Spain. It was clean and had a more "we care about our buildings, streets and tourist" than the other cities we visited. Definitely don't miss a visit to the old city Toledo.

Toledo is a very beautiful city with truly medieval flavor,...
Toledo is a very beautiful city with truly medieval flavor, full of history that you can face on every corner. It makes no sense to try to list here all or some of the Toledo's attractions, museums and monuments as it is already done in many other places. However, it worth to share here some tricks that we found ourselves as I couldn't find them during extensive research during preparation to this trip.
We were staying outside of city wall with no grocery shops nearby. There is no need to go to the pretty much useless shopping centers outside of Toledo as we did initially by mistake.
You can find within city walls everything that you need during your stay in a couple of Carrefour Express, Aranda, Suma and La Despensa supermarkets located using Google Maps.
If you are staying outside of city walls, aren't young enough (booking.com considered us as a young couple while we are 66+) or have mobility problems, the best way to get to the city is any bus going to Zacodover place that will cost you 1.40 Euro per person. You can pay on bus by Visa/Mastercard or by cash, but driver may not have proper change. In 2 occasions out of about 10 credit card readers didn't work for us and we had to use cash.
You can reduce the costs to 0.64 Euro per trip by buying Toledo Buono card for as little as 5 Euro and top up it on-line, but the only place where you can do it is Toledo bus station with office open only on Monday-Thursday 9:00-14:00 and 15:30-19:00, and on Friday 8:00-15:00. We arrived to Toledo on Friday afternoon and I could buy these cards only on Monday...
Please note that office staff speak only Spanish, so you have to have you on-line translators ready if you don't speak Spanish yourselves,
Enjoy Toledo like we did, and good luck!

I enjoyed Toledo a lot!
I enjoyed Toledo a lot! It is very hilly, and many of the streets are rough. I use a mobility scooter and had little trouble getting around. Do go to the Sephardic Museum, right next to the El Greco. It doesn't get much notice but is lovely.

This lovely, homey guesthouse is in the old part of town in a neighbourhood of very narrow winding streets. It's best to take a taxi if you don't know the area. Good location, only a few minutes' walk to the cathedral. It's a great little hotel with a lift and pleasant staff. The bathroom was spacious with good water pressure and lots of hot water. There's a gorgeous terrace on the 3rd floor with views over the city and the cathedral--magical at night! Once all the day trippers leave, the old town is blissfully quiet.
Superb location in the middle of the town. Lovely hotel combining old with new. Excellent staff who where very helpful. Easy to find with parking nearby and for which a discount was applied. Although we only stayed for one night en route, we will be back to explore more and will stay again at this lovely hotel.
The hotel was located in the center of Toledo, and the price was cheap, but it was completely remodeled and very clean. Staff was very friendly. I can confidently recommend it to anyone. I will stay at this hotel next time if I visit again.
Boutique hotel in the heart of Toledo, located on the second biggest square in a historical building. Terrace on the top floor has a stunning view. All furniture and bathrooms were brand new.
