Perfect location to explore old city, breakfast on the top terrace very nice. Elevator only can hold one person. but still very handy with the luggage. Dante was very polite, friendly and helpful with car parking and suggested restaurants in the area.
We had Puerto Nuevo room with the large patio space right by the City gates. Comfy furniture and nice to have tea/coffee outside.

Edgy and eclectic, Palermo is a symbol of all that Sicily stands for. From buzzing Vespas to the bustling Vucciria market, it simply brims with life.
Wonderful Palermo Cathedral glows radiantly in the Mediterranean sun. Nearby is the city’s last Sicilian Puppet Theater, and across the street is a palm-filled park housing Roman mosaics, though the best are in the archeological museum. At one end is the Norman Palace, a government building home to the fabulous Cappella Palatina, whose gold mosaics are absolutely breathtaking.
Equally magnificent are the gold mosaics lining the 12th-century Monreale Cathedral on the city’s outskirts. Wander the cloisters and note the varying columns and capitals – each pair is different.
Palermo also has fascinating churches: 2 of the oldest are 12th-century San Giovanni degli Eremeti and San Cataldo, each with red, Islamic-style domes. Gesú Church has an incredible Sicilian Baroque interior, while La Martorana’s frescoes are awe-inspiring. A street away is Quattro Canti, an intersection with a fountain in each corner.
Other attractions include the round Teatro Massimo, Mondello beach and Monte Pellegrino mountain overlooking the sea. You get fabulous views of this picnic spot as you fly into Palermo Airport before heading to your Booking.com accommodations.

Palermo is a fascinating city with a rich multi-cultural history—Normans, Arabs, Jewish, Spanish—and all of that evident to explore through historic sites, food , etc. a vibrant city and transportation hub to other areas of Sicily and Italy. I personally recommend the overnight ferry to Genoa over a flight and a boring hotel room.

It's a bit like New York in respect to the hustle and bustle, it has great coffee and amazing pastries, the architecture is classical instead of modernist and being lovingly restored in places. The city has a great friendly vibe and the marina area is within walking distance 1-2km from city centre. The street food is way better than a hot dog 😋. Well worth a city break.

Palermo is a city where you can walk and walk, and be amazed at what you find. If you are interested in ultra-modern museums, gothic cathedrals, gorgeous parks, busy cafe streets, or the water side, its got it all, and more. It is a city that surprises you---around a quiet corner, you find a gorgeous Palazzo. Around another corner, a fascinating puppet show. And you are literally never more than a few paces from a delicious, fresh sea food restaurant. It is a vibrant city with a tumultuous history, and a population that, despite the tourism deluge, is friendly and proud of their city.

Palermo City is bustling with loads of bars, restaurants and shops. People seem very friendly. The roads are quaint and easy to walk but not for rolling luggage or high heels. There is enough to do something different every day for a week. You could not eat at all the food places in maybe years if you tried. The museums are very good and affordable. The public transport is pretty good, not perfect but good. The trains are clean and reliable with a variety of destinations, including direct to the airport. The AMT bus is excellent, sometimes delayed but cheap. Honestly the Quattro Conti is overrated. Its dirty and there isn"t much there to see in the daytime. Nighttime there is some entertainment. There are loads of shops around here and at night it really rocks and drinks are cheap. The city can seem a bit dirty but they are cleaning every day from what I saw in 7 days. Its up to us tourists to make sure our rubbish goes in the right bins. Other than that, its awesome.

We stayed 2 weeks, and we found it was a bit too long.
There are places to visit outside Palermo, but public transport can slow and infrequent.
In hindsight, we would been better to stay a little outside the city where parking is easier, and looked to rent a car.
But staying in the city was also an unforgettable experience

As a group of 4 friends visiting Sicily for the first time - this hotel was absolutely perfect!
All communication from the hotel was given in a timely manner.
We were greeted with such warmth and affection from Germano who immediately made us feel welcome. She is one wonderful lady!
The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. All advice given regarding what to see and do when in Sicily was spot on.
I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Palermo - fantastic value for money.
A brilliantly run boutique hotel, tucked away just off the main streets of the historical heart of Palermo.
The rooms are a delightful mix of the old and the modern, making them eclectic without being pretentious, and still having all the mod-cons without losing the charm of the old world.
They made our stay in Palermo super easy and convenient and we would not hesitate to come back again in a heartbeat.
My favourite hotel from my trip, it's an absolute sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Palermo and slap bang in the middle of the perfect location. The courtyard, breakfast and sauna/indoor pool area (which are free, just need to book and hour slot) we're particular highlights - if I came back to Sicily this would be the first hotel I booked!
Very helpful host (Filippo); clean, spacious and luminous bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast was also good.
Close to transport hubs (5min to train station for airport and 15min to train station for Cefalù).
One of the best rooms we have had during our tour of Sicily (and they were all pretty decent).
comfortable Boutique Hotel in the heart of the historic center of Palermo. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help and advise you. Room equipped with many comforts and very comfortable and clean. Super breakfast!
