Sydney is a friendly cosmopolitan city with lots to offer. The best is the Opal Card public transport system that allows you to load the card and ride on any type of public transportation that's available: bus, overhead tram, train or ferry. So organized and friendly people. Great food and great vibel
Super fun going all over by ferry to different harbor towns and beaches ...a Chill vibe everywhere!! My favorite thing was that there are so many saltwater pools built at the turn of the century (early 1900s) along the edges of various beaches, so you can take a salt water swim or dip without getting into an ocean that you are unfamiliar with its currents and sealife . Can swim all year in those famous saltwater pools. Fabulous and ingenious!

The weather was awful and so sightseeing was difficult. Took bus to train station at Mascot to Circular Quay. Took ferry from there to Manly and spent the afternoon walking the town and going for coffee and food. If the weather had been kinder it would have been great. Overall a nice couple of days

Sydney has a fascinating harbour in which travellers can walk, ride the Metro, trains or light rail, and ferries to access locations all over the city and beyond.
The city has beautiful buildings, open spaces and of course the famous harbour with icons such as the opera house and harbour bridge. Fishermans wharf in America rates far lower in my opinion

Public transport choice was great so close to our hotel with a great time tables. With lots of eateries near our hotel we were spoilt for choice. Being right on the harbour we had great views of the opera house and harbour bridge, Sydney’s most iconic structures. With vivid running during our stay had a great light show.

We went to Sydney for the Vivid Lights.
We went to Sydney for the Vivid Lights. We have been going for most of the years it has been running but probably won't attend again.
There were nowhere near as much happening as previous years and has become too politically divisive. We went from Circular Quay to Barangaroo, and the walkway along Circular Quay has no where as much happening as previous years. On the way further where some food vans and a couple of entertainers. Cadman House and museums where lit with light shows, but not much else. There was a long queue for a light event where you sat and took your photo on a swing!
Further along to Walsh Bay and onto Barrangaroo, there were more interesting light shows, but these were scarce.

Expected a smaller room than the one received and it was huge compared to other similar hotels in the CBD (which are more expensive as well). It's very spacious and had a great coffee prep area with a mini-fridge. The bed was comfortable and staff superb. I love this hotel! Exceptional value for money and the perfect location within walking distance to the train station and Darling Harbour.
This is a very centrally located hotel. I had meetings in Sydney CBD so they are all within walking distances from the hotel. I really liked it when front office staff allowed me to check in at around 10:00AM which was fantastic after some 8 hours flight. The Gym is decent and so were the pool.
Stayed during New Year's Eve to catch the fireworks. Good value compare to the rate of other hotels in CBD for New Year's Eve 2025 celebration. I booked it a year in advanced tho. Happy that they were able to accommodate early check in for us. We arrived 10am. They have comfy beds.
This is the fourth time I have stayed at this hotel. It is so conveniently situated for public transport and access to Darling harbour and China town. Value for money after comparing prices and other hotels around the area.
Easy check in and great location for airport connection. Room was big, and products supplied.
Lovely breakfast, fast checkout. Great value compared to other hotels nearby.
