About Nha Trang

Nha Trang is one of the main resorts in central Vietnam. It is a perfect combination of classic beach holidays and excursions to picturesque national parks. The city is located along a wide bay surrounded by green mountains. Not far from the coast of Nha Trang in the South China Sea scattered small archipelagos, where fans of secluded holidays and divers rush.

The tourist zone of the city includes several streets where the main hotels, local restaurants, souvenir shops and numerous agencies ready to organise excursions to any point of Vietnam (and if you have enough time – even to Laos and Cambodia) are located. If you wish, you can stroll through the local colourful markets or visit the central quarters, where citizens live their usual life.

The cable car connects the coast of Nha Trang to Hon Che Island, which is home to the Vinpearl Land amusement park, a popular tourist attraction. The length of the road is more than 3 kilometres. The design of the metal supports resembles the outline of the Eiffel Tower (the beautiful night illumination makes it even more similar to the Parisian landmark). A ride on the cable car lasts 10-15 minutes. During this time, the passenger has time to admire the coast and islands.

The reserve is located on the mountain of the same name a few dozen kilometres from Nha Trang. It is a real realm of impenetrable green forests and misty horizons. Most of the park’s territory is at an altitude of 1600 metres above sea level, so the local climate is very different from the coastal and plain climate. In the middle of the reserve, Alexander Jersen’s house-museum stands on top of a mountain.

Hon Khoi Salt Fields

3.9/5
23 reviews
The Khon Khoi fields are commercially mined for salt. They are located about 50 kilometres from Nha Trang near Zoclet Beach. The plantations are flooded with sea water, which evaporates within a few days and leaves snow-white crystals. The salt is then collected and sent for processing. The work is carried out in the morning hours, as salt harvested in the heat of the day is considered unusable.

Nha Trang Beach

4.9/5
7 reviews
The city beach stretches for several kilometres along the sea line. It is free of charge, but hotel-owned sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent. Along the beach there is a stone paved promenade with squares and equipped seating areas. The ideal time for swimming is in the first half of the day, as the waves rise in the afternoon and the water becomes murky.
