About Krabi

The province of Krabi in the south of Thailand is attractive primarily for lovers of outdoor activities. Everything here disposes to moving around the neighbourhood. National forest and marine parks, islands with beautiful beaches, cliffs and caves, waterfalls and forest lakes, hot springs and mangroves. Due to the unique landscape, rock climbing and kayaking are more developed in this region than in other resorts in Thailand. Deep Water Solo is one of the favourite activities for climbers. Tourists are taken to the sea, directly from the boat they climb the rocks and jump into the water from a height. Sea excursions on wooden Thai boats, snorkelling and diving around the islands, and trips to Buddhist temples are popular. The most famous are the Tiger Temple, the White Temple, and the Temple of the Lying Buddha.

One of the best places in Krabi for kayaking. It doesn’t require any special skills to operate the watercraft. The bay itself is small, with calm waters. In addition to seeing magnificent wildlife, mangroves, exotic fish and animals, the trip includes visits to several caves and grottoes. Railay Viewpoint Resort

4.3/5
1624 reviews
For those wishing to see the peninsula from above, there are two viewing platforms. The one between Pranang and West Raleigh Beach is not as popular as the one between East Raleigh and Pranang, on a 100 metre cliff top. The path up to it is not easy, with some sections of it following rocks vertically upwards. There’s also red clay underfoot, which can get dirty. But the magnificent panorama at the top is worth the effort.
