About Kosice

Košice is an old town. Unlike its peers, it has managed to preserve its history not only in the annals, but also in reality. Wars, geopolitical changes and even epidemics have not been able to wipe out its heritage. A large number of attractions in Košice are located around the Main Street. First of all, these are architectural objects. With some modifications, buildings from the XIII-XVII centuries have survived to this day.

If you go a little further away from Košice, tourists will discover another side of the area – natural beauties. For example, the Slovak Paradise is one of the most interesting national parks in the country. Its Dobrzynska Ice Cave is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are about 350 other caves, waterfalls, canyons and hills in the county. And, what is no less important – opportunities to explore them comfortably.
