Ancient Kourion

Sanctuary of Apollo Hylates

Apollo Gilatos was the patron saint of Kourion. In the 8th century BC, a grandiose sanctuary in honour of this god was erected near the city. The temple was destroyed along with a large part of Kurion in the 4th century B.C. Later another temple was erected in its place, which belongs to the later Roman period. Kolossi Castle

Carob Museum

Archaeological Museum of the Lemesos (Limassol) District

Holy Monastery of St Nicholas of the Cats
