The room was comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural light and an excellent view of the park. The open design between the bathroom and bedroom - something to mention. However, it was not disturbing us.

Old Riga is the most beautiful city- very clean and safe with beautiful flowers and green space omnipresent. All the Latvian people we met were really lovely, helpful and kind. It was a fantastic place to explore and spend a few days.

Riga is my childhood city, I grew up here, so I have many memories associated with it.
I would recommend visiting Riga Central Market. Check out the huge zeppelin hangars that were used in its construction.
And I would definitely recommend visiting the Art Nouveau district, the buildings in Riga are particularly exquisite. I hope that your visit to the Art Nouveau district will be an exciting and unforgettable experience, highlighting the feeling of stepping back in time.

Lovely medieval town centre.
Lovely medieval town centre. Clean and safe some areas a little touristy. Art nouveau area astounding architecture and public parks are beautiful. Skyline bar well worth a visit for cocktails with a view. We typically found the best resteraunt on the last day which is called “The Swedish gate”. Head away from the centre past the War museum towards the river and it’s on the left. Authentic Latvian food very well prepared delicious and inexpensive.

Riga has both mystique and a unique individual identity, unlike any other city I have visited. The combination of cobbled streets, fabulous architecture, a beautiful river, green parks, numerous cafes and restaurants, make this a great place to explore. For stunning views across the city, take the lift to the observation platform in St. Peters Church old town. Check out the old zeppelin hangers that are now fruit, veg and fish markets. Take a canal boat tour of Riga and view it from a different dimension. Check out the Rock Cafe in the evening. All these activities are within walking distance in and around the old town.

The location of the hotel is nice, its only 15 mins walking to the Old Town part.
Private airport transfer was on time and was great to be at the hotel within 30 mins after landing in Latvia though it’s overpriced.
Check in went well, the receptionist lady was very nice and spoke very good English.
Bed was comfortable and the curtains were really great quality to keep the room dark in the mornings.
The TV set worked just fine to watch series & news in English.
The hotel is very handsome with lovely olde world furnishings. The room had good facilities and was very comfy. The location was great, just tucked away in a lane opposite Riga cathedral, right at the entrance to the old town. There is a very stylish restaurant with great views and nice wines on the fifth floor. The restaurant staff were attentive and dining there was a very enjoyable experience.
We new this was a budget hotel and it was great, breakfast was fantastic, exceeded our expectations. Staff were always friendly and helpful and, Although not in the Old Town the hotel is in a great loacation with loads of public transport options, The buses and trams in Riga are great. we bought a 3 day ticket for around £7 and that gives you unlimited use!
Nice hotel, good single room, pleasantly surprised considering how cheap it was and including a buffet style breakfast as well.
10 minute walk to the old town and nearest bars, would recommend for a short stay in Riga.
