The included breakfast was delicious. Availability of coffee & tea 24/7, plus a microwave, plus an in-room fridge were ideal. There are several grocery stores within a quick walk of the hotel so I was able to save on my food budget considerably.

The Cradle of Finnish Culture

The original capital of Finland, Turku is the country’s oldest city that features a bustling harbour, an array of museums and restaurants, and is renowned for being the cradle of Finnish culture.

During the summer Turku’s waterfronts come alive with boat bars and cafés, along with popular festivals such as Ruisrock Festival and Turku Music Festival, which are held in July and August respectively.

I came to the city to spend time with my child.

I came to the city to spend time with my child. The city was nice for walking, interesting museums, great experience going to Ruissalo area. If you plan a visit just to explore Turku, I would recommend summer time - way more options for boat trips and fun-life at the waterfront. The weather can be a bit cold in spring.

Turku is a lovely city in finland.

Turku is a lovely city in finland. I got to spend a few days here off and on and it was lovely to discover the museums, local restaurants (some really incredible), bars, shops and even took flights, cruises and busses from and to here while solo traveling through Finland for three weeks. I am sure in the summer it is divine.

Turku was a springboard for visiting Finland's wooden villages, with our son who goes to school in Helsinki. He wanted to have more time in Turku. What we saw of Turku was charming and easy. Street parking was easy. It was walkable, also - we walked about a half-mile to get a couple pizzas at Dal Forno, which we can highly recommend.

The best part of Turku was our self guided tour of the castle which was amazing and easy to access via the local bus. We didn’t have a vehicle and only stayed one night so didn’t venture far. Disappointed in the old town as I expected more.

Hotel located in centrum Turku (5 minutes walk to Puutori). Near to Turku Cathedral and Aurajoki/Aura Å. Good connection to Turku Airport (bus #1). Room clean, comfortable with very good Wi-Fi connection. Amazing and rich breakfast, fresh fruits/vegetables, sweet/salty snacks. I had early morning flight and not was problem with take away breakfast (delicious sandwich, apple + coffe). Crew very helpful and friendly. It was my first visit in Finland and stayed here made it wonderful. I honestly recommended every one. Kiitos! :-)

This apartment was an excellent location in Turku, it is on the east side of the main shopping district and near the river and cathedral. The parking option although a few blocks away is very helpful as parking seemed very expensive. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. The parking is a few blocks away and there isn't a way to park out front to bring bags up. Keep that in mind.

Beautiful, modern room in a renovated historical building. The location in Turku does not get any more centric than this. Still the room was mostly quiet, even on a Saturday night. Cute bay window overlooking the Market Square was the cherry on top. Self-service hotel, access with code, everything worked well. No complaints.

The hotel is very centrally located in Turku, the description of the hotel corresponds to reality. The room is spacious. I find it very convenient that there is a microwave, a small fridge and a kettle in the room. The room was very clean, with plenty of towels, even the organic waste is separated! I felt very comfortable here.
