The Hotel was located right on the city square within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Breakfast was great with a big spread and they asked if we wanted anything from the menu. The room was great with good privacy. Parking was located underground with direct elevator access. Just be sure to use the correct parking garage access, unlike us.

Central location, good bed. They offer a refund if you skip housekeeping. On one side ok but for a 5star hotel a bit strange. As it was my birthday I was offered a complimentary bottle of fizzy wine which was nice.

Known as the "Jewel Box", Dresden is a stunning German city with rich history, an important classical music scene, and an unforgettable Baroque and Rococo-inspired city center.
Located on the banks of the Elbe River, the whole city was destroyed during World War II, but has now been rebuilt into one of the most interesting places in Europe. Like a phoenix from the ashes, the Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche) is an imposing building that is one of the most beloved symbols of the city.
Magnificent Zwinger Palace is the main Dresden attraction, featuring impressive pavilions and a majestic garden in the middle. Continue your journey along the cultural centre of Germany and visit the picturesque Baroque square of Neumarkt. Also not to be missed is Brühl Terrace, a promenade nicknamed the "Balcony of Europe", for its excellent view of the River Elbe.
Enjoy a relaxing stroll around the city and you will find a selection of cozy Dresden restaurants and beer gardens serving local dishes and fine wines from the surrounding vineyards.
Dresden Airport is the international airport located in the district of Klotzsche, featuring a railway station in the terminal building. Take the train and head to your Booking.com hotel, guesthouse or apartment.
Dresden is aesthetically charming. It is small enough to walk around. There are also interesting locations in the region such as the Saechische Schweiz and Meissen. The streetcar system takes you everywhere in the city and regional and long distance rail travel is robust. The city is greener and quieter than other places I have visited in Germany.I hope to return next year for a longer stay.

Fantastic place to visit!
Fantastic place to visit! The last time we were there, many years ago, the cathedral was still in ruins so it was wonderful to see that it was rebuilt and to see how bustling and lively that part of the city is now.

Unfortunately we were only in Dresden for two days because of our limited timetable. The old city was breathtaking. Easy to get around. Great architecture, well laid out. Great to see renovations being carried out. Would thoroughly recommend visiting Dresden and spending more time.

The reconstructed centre is a beautiful city with architecture from the 17th century through to last year! Loads of cafes and restaurants, plenty of art and culture. Take a horse drawn trip through the city streets. Sit on the Bruhle terrace and see the steam boats come and go and visit the Frauenkirche and the Hofkirche as well as the Royal Castle, the porcelain museum and old master gallery

I was there for two nights, I could’ve easily stayed three, would’ve preferred three. Dresden is a really interesting place. And has many places and things to see. I did not get to everything I would have wanted to see, but it was a good stay.

I arrived on a Thursday and was amazed at how few visitors there were in the old town. There were a few more on Friday but not much more. It was really nice touring the sights without the crush of crowds. Then Saturday... There were more people but not that many more. It was a manageable crowd. If you are an early riser, you will have the place to yourself. If you brought the kids, you must stop at the Transportation Museum. There are a lot of hands-on exhibits for them. Plus, there are a couple of motor scooters that you will never see in the wild.

Finding the hotel was the same occasion as to choose Dresden as one of our stops during our travel.
We haven’t expected much from one night stop.
Moreover we are spoiled with all the types of hotels (including luxury ones) all over the world in our past.
I’ll be laconic. This place is just incredible.
Probably the best cost for money I ever saw. Worth every penny.
It has its style, it makes you feel comfortable, and staff is just great.
We’ll definitely come back to the city and we already know where we’re staying:)
Dankeschön
Modern, comfortable and clean. Contemporary interior design. Good parking in the basement, large spaces and well lit. The hotel has a section of the car park (34 spaces) immediately at the bottom of the entrance ramp. If this is full then parking on the street is possible (anx much cheaper) on the quiet street in front of the hotel.
The location is very good about 10 minutes walk to the old town and city centre. The hotel does not have a restaurant but provides a small range of bar snacks/meals eg pizza.
One of my favorite hotels in Dresden. The best pillows and a nice breakfast with a lovely view. However, this time the pillow was changed to a classical hotel version - thick pillow that puts your head in an almost vertical position. Additionally, the breakfast on Friday was confusing; it seemed like the fried potatoes from yesterday's breakfast were just reheated and served again. Everyone knows the taste of yesterday's fried potatoes - like shoe soles.
The price is quite good considering the great location. It is at the center of old town, just 3 minutes walking distance to Frauenkirche Dresden. You an enjoy the old town and visit Semper Opera House, Zwinger Gallery, Frauenkirche, Hofkirche by walk. There is lundry machine and a small kitchen in the apartment, making it is convienent and cost effective for a longer stay.
However, don't expect the same experience like living in a 4-start hotel.
This hotel was easy to find and in the perfect location for visiting Old Town Dresden. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was parking below the hotel which was very convenient. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The bar was nice to visit in the lobby and the breakfast was wonderful with many options and open seating. It was easy to walk/Ubahn to the city center. The price for this hotel was excellent.
