I stayed in Belgrade only for 3 days to visit my relatives.

I stayed in Belgrade only for 3 days to visit my relatives. The city is covered in graffiti which feels like a part of the personality for me. Many trees, nice to look at, feels cozy. I wanted to see Tesla's museum but lamentably it was closed due to many visitors when i found it at 12 p.m., the national museum was free to go on Sunday. Free public transport. I enjoyed botanic garden even though it's not that big, nearby we drank some awesome domacha kafa (for those who love pure coffee it's a cool thing to try). Risotto was tasty both time we ordered it in the different restaurants, same goes for fish. I would love to stay there for longer or visit it again. Living there wouldn't be that bad as well as it seems to me right now

As first timer to stay in Beograd, and we stayed in Old...

As first timer to stay in Beograd, and we stayed in Old Beograd, it was a bit stressful because of parking places. Thanks God a Serbian friend recommended me a parking lot in the blue area, at 10 minutes walking distance. In many areas the city is very dirty, and bad smells are bothering here and there, especially near the Zoo. A lot of dog poo on streets. Tried to ate in a place were it was supposed to open at 10am, but when arrived they told us will open at 11am. Went to other place, ordered a soup, which was weird, and cevape, the most small cevape I have ever saw in my life. The only positive place was he Fat Boys Food. Visited Nikola Tesla Museum, not much impressed, kind of not very warm interaction. Kalemegdan is beautiful. Then visited Chocolate Museum, the lady from there was so kind, she "washed the face" of Beograd during our visit, with her kindness. Public transport is pretty good, even if the tram was also a bit dirt. Must be very careful with parking, I have parked ina legal spot, but next day found my windshield wipers up, a lady from a near shop reported me because they need that spot to bring their ware inside, the parking service came but did nothing because the sign with NO PARKING was missing. Thanks God! If the sign would be there they would tow my car (but if I would see any, I would not park there).

    My Unforgettable Serbian Adventure

My Unforgettable Serbian Adventure Serbia exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived in Belgrade, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The city itself is a vibrant mix of old and new, with historic landmarks like Kalemegdan Fortress standing side by side with trendy cafes and bustling markets. I spent hours exploring the fortress, marveling at the ancient walls and taking in the breathtaking views of the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. The food in Serbia is simply divine! I indulged in traditional dishes like ćevapi, which were perfectly grilled and bursting with flavor. The local wines were also a pleasant surprise, especially the rich reds from the Fruška Gora region. And of course, I couldn't leave without trying rakija, the local fruit brandy. It was strong but oh - so - delicious! One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the town of Novi Sad. The Petrovaradin Fortress there is a must - see, with its maze - like tunnels and panoramic views of the city. I also had the chance to experience the famous Exit Festival, and it was an absolute blast! The music, the energy, the people - everything was perfect. But what truly made my trip special was the Serbian people. They were incredibly friendly, always willing to help and share stories about their country. I made some great friends along the way, and I felt like I was part of the family. Serbia is a hidden gem in Europe, and I can't wait to go back. It has something for everyone - history, culture, food, nature, and most importantly, heart. If you're looking for an authentic and unforgettable travel experience, look no further than Serbia!

The city is a contradiction with mix of old, historic, brutal socialist architecture. Elegant building of late 19 century look over streets that have seen both beauty and. conflict. The street graffiti tellling but mixed with ‘tagging’. What was incongruous is that elegant trendy bars restaurants live side by side these expressions of ‘wall art’. But it works. In all Belgrade reminded me of Berlin east and west. Definetly worth an encore.

Belgrade is a nice place to go to spend a few days.

Belgrade is a nice place to go to spend a few days. One can travel to Novi Sad (a charming old town with an impressive fortress), an hour or so away by train (and bus). One can also take a tour of a few old castles (and fortresses) along the Danube. Belgrade has several nice places (for varied tastes & preferences) to dine, and a splendid fortress just a few minutes' walk from downtown. Serbia obviously has a lot of history, and the walking tour provides a great overview. One must be aware that on most days there are some kinds of protest (mostly of the non-violent kind) going on in front of the city hall. Overall, we found the City very safe.

Historical places, local restaurants and easy-to-walk...

Historical places, local restaurants and easy-to-walk pavements are intermingled. I really like Belgrade. It is a city where Yugoslavian breezes meet with the Ottoman past and Western directions. Plus, graffities and murals on the walls are the basic evidence of city's dynamic political and sportive fabric. And... free public transportation is the cherry on top!

The hotel is located in the heart of Belgrade old city centre, very close to the fortress and the main street. It is an ideal location, all attractions are at walking distance and there are many bars and restaurants around. The room we stayed was nice and comfortable. The owner of the hotel is very nice and helpful, he gave us many useful suggestions of restaurants and bars.

Lovely atmosphere, very friendly hosts, located on a quiet street, but close to the city centre. My kid and I loved stayng there. Be warned, top floor has a steep staircase, but there is an option when booking a room to choose if you need lower floor. Breakfasts were delicious, and the breakfast room is beautifully decorated. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Fantastic location, close to everything in the old town of Belgrade. Funky interior with a goo combination of fun and style. Beautiful rooftop bar! Breakfast was perfect, the room was spacious enough and we managed to check in early. Note that the hotel is at the top of a shopping center, so it might be slightly confusing to get there at first.
