I liked the great location - it is in the very centre and at the same time very calm area. The staff was extremely friendly. The building itself historical with unique style. The room has nice space. The breakfast was fine. All facilities functioned well. In front of the hotel there is a wonderful park.

We stayed 2 nights and explored most of the town center, but we could easily have stayed another night to see some places a little further out of town. The cathedral museum was very interesting, especially the old library. A lot of good exhibits. I don't remember the names but we ate at a few good restaurants in the town center. And as a bonus, we were there when the Tour of Estonia finished there and had race-side seats at a restaurant was we watched the bikers on the final 400 meters of the race.

Tartu has lots of places to visit, the old town, the walks along river, the parks, gardens, churches, views of city from Toome Hill, there are lots of museums to visit, including the Estonian national museum in Tartu, at an old USSR air base, which you can walk around, there is also upside down house close to that museum,.
The local buses are great to use, either use bank card at front of bus, or, buy Tartu bus card at any R Kisok, and add money to it, there is also a free bus to the big shopping center just outside Tartu, which has many shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, cinemas, hotels, diy stores, and other places, you can spend nearly all day there.

A hidden gem in the Baltics.
A hidden gem in the Baltics. Tartu is a stunning little town with loads of character. It is scenic with a stunning riverfront, sprawling parks, and numerous historic sites to visit as well as a magnificent street art/murals are numerous buildings throughout town and surrounding residential areas. Tartu also has some truly exceptional restaurants, from upscale Michelin starred places to more affordable and relaxed dining with loads of character - especially in the hipster quarter (check out restaurant Aparaat).
Highly recommend visiting this small town with big personality.

Fabulous place close to everything. Lots of little things had been thought about e.g. a drying rack if you used the washing machine. There were instructions in multiple languages for most items (bar the kettle and the washing machine was only in Estonian).
Very comfortable arrival - only door code via email and instructions for parking. The location is quite good for transit voyagers to the Southern Estonia - the address is near Lõunakeskus mall on the southbound of city outskirts.
