Very good location, close to harbor, affordable, and convenient. we wanted to explore the turku archipelago and were only staying in the hotel to rest.
The original capital of Finland, Turku is the country’s oldest city that features a bustling harbour, an array of museums and restaurants, and is renowned for being the cradle of Finnish culture.
During the summer Turku’s waterfronts come alive with boat bars and cafés, along with popular festivals such as Ruisrock Festival and Turku Music Festival, which are held in July and August respectively.
The city offers a number of entertainment options and landmarks such as the Wäinö Aaltonen Museum of Art, Turku Cathedral and the medieval Turku Castle, which overlooks the harbour.
Tallink Silja Terminal and Viking Line Terminal offer regular ferry services to destinations such as Stockholm, Åland Islands and Moomin World Theme Park, located on the island of Kailo.
Check out the Booking.com website to choose from a selection of hostels, apartments and hotels in Turku, Naantali and throughout Finland.
I came to the city to spend time with my child. The city was nice for walking, interesting museums, great experience going to Ruissalo area.
If you plan a visit just to explore Turku, I would recommend summer time - way more options for boat trips and fun-life at the waterfront. The weather can be a bit cold in spring.

Turku is a lovely city in finland.
Turku is a lovely city in finland. I got to spend a few days here off and on and it was lovely to discover the museums, local restaurants (some really incredible), bars, shops and even took flights, cruises and busses from and to here while solo traveling through Finland for three weeks. I am sure in the summer it is divine.

Turku was a springboard for visiting Finland's wooden villages, with our son who goes to school in Helsinki. He wanted to have more time in Turku. What we saw of Turku was charming and easy. Street parking was easy. It was walkable, also - we walked about a half-mile to get a couple pizzas at Dal Forno, which we can highly recommend.

The best part of Turku was our self guided tour of the castle which was amazing and easy to access via the local bus. We didn’t have a vehicle and only stayed one night so didn’t venture far. Disappointed in the old town as I expected more.

Good loccation - about 11min walk from train or buss station. To the center of Turku about 10min walk. Around a lot of cafe and shops -from 2min up to 7 min walk. You will have in your room the microwave owen, fridge, el.kettle and some coffee. Very good access into hotel during 24 hours by key code.
great location, right in the centre of Turku between the river and the central square. It's a smart hotel, fairly upscale. Breakfast was excellent, as all Finnish breakfasts are. Roof bar was nice. Staff were extremely helpful.
Excellent value for money! Great location, nice and tidy and comfortable beds. Breakfast is super nice, hotel standard and staff is very friendly and welcoming. Will definately book when visiting Turku again!
A romantic stay on this huge ship, close to Turku Castle, a nice walk along the river. A delicious breakfast. Everything clean. Pleasant staff. EAsy to park.
