Perfect location to visit Palermo. The room is exactly like in the pictures, very comfy and nice to relax. We had private jacuzzi AND sauna in the room. The price was one of the cheapest too. Staff are nice and helpful.

The host is extremely helpful and hospitable. The location is conveniently close to major attractions, and the breakfast is satisfying with savory options such as eggs, ham, and cheese. The apartment is located within the ZTL area. If you drive to the apartment, it's better to ask for the information from the host.

Edgy and eclectic, Palermo is a symbol of all that Sicily stands for. From buzzing Vespas to the bustling Vucciria market, it simply brims with life.
Wonderful Palermo Cathedral glows radiantly in the Mediterranean sun. Nearby is the city’s last Sicilian Puppet Theater, and across the street is a palm-filled park housing Roman mosaics, though the best are in the archeological museum. At one end is the Norman Palace, a government building home to the fabulous Cappella Palatina, whose gold mosaics are absolutely breathtaking.
Equally magnificent are the gold mosaics lining the 12th-century Monreale Cathedral on the city’s outskirts. Wander the cloisters and note the varying columns and capitals – each pair is different.
Palermo also has fascinating churches: 2 of the oldest are 12th-century San Giovanni degli Eremeti and San Cataldo, each with red, Islamic-style domes. Gesú Church has an incredible Sicilian Baroque interior, while La Martorana’s frescoes are awe-inspiring. A street away is Quattro Canti, an intersection with a fountain in each corner.
Other attractions include the round Teatro Massimo, Mondello beach and Monte Pellegrino mountain overlooking the sea. You get fabulous views of this picnic spot as you fly into Palermo Airport before heading to your Booking.com accommodations.

Lively and bustling city, there's so much to do and so much to see. Every street is a different story and there are lovely details hidden all over the city. Food is amazing, but I'd say skip the touristic markets and cafes / restaurants around touristic hotspots. The best food is hidden in the side streets.

We fell in love with Palermo.
We fell in love with Palermo. The people, the food, the reasonable prices compared to other places in Europe and he history of the most conquered city in Europe, made for a very special visit. If you want flashy then this isn't the place for you. If you want authentic and real life then you must visit. We stayed in the old town where life is raw and gritty, it's not clean but it is beautiful in it's appeal, that is if you have an open mind, understand the history and take the time to interact with the people. We will definitely visit again.

Palermo has a lot to offer, there’s lots of things to see and do. We went to Mt Etna and Trapani. Caught the train to Cefalu which was a beautiful seaside town with lovely shops and restaurants.
There’s a bus that takes you up to Monreale which was a lovely town with great views over Palermo.
The only negative is that it is not cared for very well.. the roads and pavements are pot holed and uneven and rubbish around the train station and other areas was not cleared away. Broken bottles were all around the bins by the monument in front of the station 2 days running. Even when the rubbish had been collected the streets don’t appear to ever be swept. A real shame as it lets down the city. Other parts of Sicily all appeared really clean and looked after.

Palermo is a fascinating city with a rich multi-cultural history—Normans, Arabs, Jewish, Spanish—and all of that evident to explore through historic sites, food , etc. a vibrant city and transportation hub to other areas of Sicily and Italy. I personally recommend the overnight ferry to Genoa over a flight and a boring hotel room.

It's a bit like New York in respect to the hustle and bustle, it has great coffee and amazing pastries, the architecture is classical instead of modernist and being lovingly restored in places. The city has a great friendly vibe and the marina area is within walking distance 1-2km from city centre. The street food is way better than a hot dog 😋. Well worth a city break.

Great location, close to good restaurants and shops. The host was wonderful and met us at the property. We liked Palermo best out of all the cities we visited in Italy. The weather is perfect in Sicily, nice and hot during the day and cooler at night. The best wine! The best place for an authentic Italian experience! More people should visit this beautiful place.
The boutique Hotel is located really close all the attractions in Palermo. The staff was so helpful and gentle. Our room was so spacious with a comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was excellent with lots of fruit, homemade sweets and savoury products
The hotel is perfect for one-night-stays if you arrive at the airport and travel to another city in Sicily. You can explore the city of Palermo by foot and try to relax in the crowded pool.
The best hotel we stayed at during our whole stay in Sicily. The room was big and well decorated. The overall place was an old palace. The rooftop with the small pool is a must for sunset!
