The breakfast was one of the best we've experienced: organic everything (or nearly), very wide range of offerings, fresh viennoiseries, charcuterie, cheese, breads, very clean, pretty cutlery and tableware, possibility for zero waste (I was tempted by a whole milk yogurt - creamy and delicious so one plastic cup). Excellent value for the money. Penelope (front desk) was super friendly and helpful. They have all these little details like quality water dispensers with pitchers and glasses to take to your room, candy and snacks, mini fussball, reading areas with material. Too many amenities to list and enjoy because our stay was too short. The location is great too! I'm not giving the 10 Innès deserves because the only time I gave a well deserved 10, Booking did not believe me.

France’s 4th largest city, Toulouse is full of beautiful red-brick buildings that have earned it the nickname Pink City. The focal point is Place du Capitole, a large square lined by restaurants and the grand Capitole building which is spectacularly lit at night. Equally impressive at night is the Pont-Neuf, a 16th-century bridge spanning the Garonne River.

This remarkably green city has many tree-lined boulevards and parks with shade. It has a laid back, almost alternative vibe, perhaps due to its huge student population. The cuisine is also fantastic – try the regional duck and the cassoulet.

Must-see Toulouse sights include the UNESCO World Heritage-listed, 10th-century Basilica of Saint Sernin and the Georges Labit Museum, a fascinating collection of Asian and Egyptian artifacts. Record-breaking Stade Toulousain rugby union club is also based here – catch a match to experience the Gallic passion.

Out by Lasbordes Airport is Cité de l’Espace, a space-themed amusement park that's great for kids. Another aviation-related feature is the city’s main industry - the Airbus-EADS factory, just north of Toulouse Blagnac Airport. Book in advance for a tour that includes the Airbus A380 production line.

    Wonderful city, great to walk around the old town, bridges...

    Wonderful city, great to walk around the old town, bridges and squares. Beautiful old churches and medieval castles and convents. Fantastic food everywhere we visited. A very vibrant and young city with plenty of bars, cafés, restaurants etc. Also, perfect for a day trip to Carcasson with the train from Matabiau station. This was quite spectacular visit. Another visit highlight: the Airbus tour in Toulouse. Interesting, learned a lot and it was a fun morning overall with an excellent restaurant at the end of the visit. Public transport is great, frequent and cheap: buses, tram, metro and the train for trips out of the city (such as Carcasson, about 1 hour away). Also bicycles to rent everywhere. Toulouse was a revelation, certainly worth a 4-5 days visit.

    Toulouse is beautiful and interesting city, and it was a lot of fun to explore the old city. The park is large and beautiful, and it is easy to get around the larger area of the city with the Metro and buses. (A ticket is good for an hour and can be used for metro, tram and buses during that hour.) We really enjoyed our visits to Couvent des Jacobins, Muséum de Toulouse, and our favorite, the Halle de la Machine, which is a quirky collection of mechanical inventions. Very old-school carnival (or steam punk) and includes fire and an optional ride on a giant minotaur! Great fun, and you are unlikely to find this kind of attraction elsewhere!

    The Fondation Bemberg at the Hotel d'Assezat was well worth the visit - a very varied art collection in a quiet setting. Both the St Sernin and Les Jacobins churches are free to enter and very impressive. Albi is an hour away on the train, as is the medieval town of Cordes-sur-Ciel - great day trips. The best value restaurants we found were the ones on the first floor of the Place Victor Hugo food market, but only open for lunch (12-3pm closed on Mondays).

    We really enjoyed our stay in Toulouse and were impressed by the charm of the city. The historical landmarks and tourist attractions were fascinating, and we loved walking through the lively streets and exploring local culture. It’s a beautiful city with so much to offer, and we had a great time discovering its unique character and history.

    A very beautiful city with lots to see and do. It's a very walkable city. We did one of the Guru walking tours which was brilliant and gave a really good overview of the city and it's main sights. The people are very friendly. The Saint Sernin Basicila is very nice inside and the area around it is lovely to sit and have a drink. The Jacobin Convent is beautiful inside with a lovely interior garden. The area around the Garonne River is picture postcard beautiful with lots of places to eat and drink with a lovely vibe.

    We booked to stay in Toulouse because we wanted to go to Carcasonne but found Toulouse to be a wonderful city, full of history with a number of really interesting buildings. Spent a lovely afternoon in a restaurant just by the river watching boating and water skiing. The main square was also great for people watching while having a drink

    This is a wonderful little hotel perfectly positioned in the centre of Toulouse. We only had 24 hours to visit the city centre and the location was ideal. The room was large and super comfortable with great bathroom and separate toilet which is rare in hotels ! The staff was kind, thoughtful, joyful and very helpful. I recommend Ovyo hotel to everyone PS - say yes to the breakfast, it is copious and delicious + (I didn’t use it) but apparently they offer yoga classes and have a gym

    The room was ideal for two brothers visiting for a few nights. All the facilities you would expect, all working and clean. Staff were helpful and even put up and helped me with my poor conversational French! Very well located for exploring central Toulouse, and nearby towns and cities such as Carcassonne and Albi via the train station, which is also very close to the hotel. Easy access by bus from the airport.
