The breakfast was definitely a favourite during the stay with excellent service especially with my sister and my allergies to nut and egg. The food was amazing and I would most certainly go back to the hotel with that in mind. The location is beautiful since it is right next to the Thames with a view to the 02 and the room was lovely as well.

London is one of the world's greatest cities.

London is one of the world's greatest cities. History, and the arts abound. The largest empire ever was run from London. Time starts in Greenwich .The green belt surrounding the city is a unique attribute. The parks, gardens and squares are more numerous than those found in any other capital city The public transport system is exceptional and inexpensive. O2 arena,Wimbledon, Premier league football, the West End, museums and range of architecture , A world's top ten university is in London whilst not a single one is to found in the 27 E.U. nations. London really is a special city.

Where we stayed was in a good central position to places...

Where we stayed was in a good central position to places like the British Museum and Madame Taussards, and and other places in London. It was central to Euston Station. Walking to these places was easy and not too long. Food and dining in London is very expensive in London compared to Australia, but that is due to the weak Australian Dollar. Unless you have been to London several times, getting around by train is very confusing, with too many line changes to find what you what. It is easier to catch buses, or use the on, off bus.

I love London. There’s so much to see and do.

I love London. There’s so much to see and do. I made a first time visit to Eltham Palace a splendid art deco property with amazing gardens. There was a very nice cafe at this English Heritage site. I made return visits to Kew Gardens and my favourite museum, the V&A, to see the excellent Cartier exhibition. I also got a good dress circle ticket for the Tina Turner musical for an excellent price buying it online a few hours before the show. I was a little underwhelmed by the London eye as it was difficult to get good clear photos because of reflections from the glass panels and the huge numbers of people in the pods. There’s a huge variety of foods to suit all prices and tastes. I went back to another old favourite Crème de la crepe in Covent Garden. Whenever I asked for information or directions at stations staff were very helpful. Also London people were very helpful with over 6 people helping carry my suitcase down flights of stairs on my journey back to London city airport. On the Friday and Monday wherever I went there were many school groups all very well behaved. An Oyster card is essential to get around and I found the underground much more practical than buses which are slow moving as traffic is so heavy. I mainly ate at the venue of places I visited. When I’ve travelled with family/friends I’ve gone much further afield for vegetarian places to eat. My only negative was the difficulty in finding public toilets in the city. There really is something for everyone in this city and as Samuel Johnson said “when a man is tired of London he’s tired of life”

Loads to do and see. Everything very expensive.

Loads to do and see. Everything very expensive. If you can handle people in the thousands and total noise and congestion it’s the place for you. Great to see so many bikes. Not great to see the numbers of busses. Tower of London £39 each. City bus tour pop on off £69 each. Bar lunch with soft drinks around £80.. ice cream £4 upto £12. Overall it’s spectacular and if you enjoy the city break it’s worth it.

London is expensive and so full of tourists in summer that it is actually unbearable. We caught a taxi from Paddington station to London bridge on 3rd July - it was around 5pm - and we got to a point where we got out of the taxi and walked (about 1.3 km) with our luggage to the apartment we had booked. We arrived in London on the 20th May - and stayed in Kensington. London didn't seem as busy then, so it was ok.

The room I was booked into was just amazing I’d recommend this place more than Travelodge/premier inn type hotels etc because this room is like a studio flat, so homely, close by to central London and what makes it that much more special is the staff and without them we wouldn’t have places like these so thank you for what you do here I appreciate and love the place and will definitely stay again and again

It is in a great location. The room was clean and relatively comfortable. For the low price paid, I was very happy. A lot of the negative reviews I've seen are quite unfair. You get what you pay for, and your expectations should be realistic when booking one of the cheapest hotels in London. You don't get The Ritz for Travelodge prices.
