Not everyone thinks of going to Strasbourg but it rewards those who do. Plenty to see, an excellent tram network (for example if you want to go to see the European Parliament- take your passport and you can get in). Plenty of restaurants to eat in a short walk away. Petite France well worth visiting as is the cathedral. Beautiful old buildings abound as you explore.

Strasbourg has a lot to offer, the almost fairy tale picturesque Petit France quarter was my favourite. We didnt have the best weather for our stay but the city offered plenty of things to do. We visited the usual museums, cathedral, EU Parliament building etc but also went to the municipal baths twice. The baths were a great experience in itself, heated outdoor pool, two indoor pools , reconstructed Roman Baths - amazing. The boat trips around the city canals/river were also a favourite experience of ours, not too expensive and in a covered boat it gave us a good view of the city without getting rained on. Loved the bars and restaurants, food was great and not too expensive either. All in all a holiday to remember and a place to revisit.

We went to Strasbourg without knowing what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. The city is busy with tourists - of course - but still the main interesting points could be visited without too much queuing. We stayed six nights and could easily fill our days with all the things to visit in the city. There is the gothic cathedral, the medieval houses, the canals, interesting musea, the European parliament, ....

Strasbourg is a beautiful city!
Strasbourg is a beautiful city! Wonderful and varied food choices and lots of book stores amongst the many shops. There’s a delicious gluten free bakery and some restaurants offer GF options. Many English speakers throughout the city, and it feels very safe and welcoming.

Uncrowded, great history, read it!, and ambiance to match.
Uncrowded, great history, read it!, and ambiance to match. Look up the Dancing Plague of Strasbourg 1518! Bring a camera. Go slow and forget the uber-hyped tourist stops. This was a good resting vacation, not a tussel with crowds. Great mass transit...USE IT! Go to the walking bridges over the Rhine into Kehl, Tram F to Place d'Islande.

Visit the cathedral at 12 and see the astrological clock at 1230, what an experience. You will take loads of photos, it’s such a beautiful and interesting city. Food is amazing, loads to see and do. Good shopping. We took a train trip to Colmar for a day visit as well.

More or less everything was on point - the room, the cleanliness, the tidiness, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The room was a good size, it was spotless, and the wifi and the number of plug sockets were excellent. the breakfast was plentiful and the various things on offer were regularly replenished. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. The hotel was near to a tram stop which was a couple of minutes from the Gare Centrale and 10 minutes from the city centre
Hotel was located within easy walking distance (about 15 minutes) along the river to Petite France & city centre of Strasbourg. Room was comfortable, if a bit small (as expected), & included a kettle. Parking was free and onsite (though there were insufficient onsite parking spots for all the guests). Price was very reasonable. The window opened.
Fabulous place to stay if visiting Strasbourg, right opposite the train station. Secure clean and great rooms. I was a little worried about booking this hotel ( as it is rated 3 star ) I have NO idea why it is 3 star. It was spotless nice size rooms and bathroom. Lovely basic breakfast included.
The hotel is situated in the centre. The Cathedral and Petit France is at walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We spend two nights in Strasbourg and this was a nice lay over for our trip. Good value for price. Great parking!
Lovely hotel opposite Strasbourg main station and within walking distance to the town centre. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommend.
