Great location, excellent customer service from the moment we arrived. Danielle and Emma on reception couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and so quiet!Would never have known you were in the middle of the city. Breakfast in the newly refurbished restaurant was fab. Can’t wait to return!

We were only in Liverpool for an overnight stay but in future we will take full advantage of our Booking.com account and organise to stay for the whole weekend. On this particular stay we did have a short walk around Albert Dock and found a great Wetherspoons and a couple of great bars. Everywhere was very clean and all the streets were well signposted with street maps placed around the streets we walked.

First off, Liverpool people are very warm and friendly.

First off, Liverpool people are very warm and friendly. Scousers are renowned for their sense of humour and there was plenty of that as well. Being a massive music fan I loved my visit to The Cavern. Although not the original (which was demolished in 1973) it had such a brilliant atmosphere. The musical heritage is ingrained in the low ceiling and brick arches, and the sound system for the live music is incredible. A visit across the street to the world famous Eric's pub is highly recommended. As with most pubs in the Matthew Street area, they host bands and singers of the very highest quality. I found the public transport (buses) to be cheap with a trip costing only £2 around town at least.

    Liked Liverpool a lot.

Liked Liverpool a lot. Needed help in navigating the bus system. Liverpool needs to do a better job at making the bus system user friendly for tourists. I really enjoyed the Beatles Story Museum. Much more interesting than the Liverpool Beatles Museum. I love how they presented the information and had interviews, photos available on the headset. The Liverpool Beatles Museum is more about Pete Best and it is not air conditioned. It was miserable. I was not impressed with the restaurant service in any of the places I went. Food was good, service was very poor!

What a great city - never been here before but would certainly come back! It's a bit Beatles obsessed but we loved that! One Beatle even got into my cappuccino! Went inside John and Paul's houses and the Cavern, saw many statues of them, took a ferry across the Mersey, rode the hop on hop off bus and visited Port Sunlight and Speke Hall too. Great atmosphere, live music everywhere and friendly helpful people. Loved it.

The location is fine if you don’t want to be right in the city centre. You are a 10 minute walk from the Albert docks. Parking was available and only £7 a day even on ladies day of the festival when we went. Paid £200 for 1 night which was okay as all hotels increase their prices for the festival. The hotel is a 3 star which could be downgraded to a 2 star in my opinion as the hotel is very outdated and in dire need of a refurb. All in all if you’re looking for somewhere just to get your head down this hotel is adequate.

This hotel is amazing! There aren’t many good hotels in the city centre of Liverpool. Novotel is honestly amazing value for money !. Great location and hotel room was spacious and comfy. Mirrors in the rooms are great to capture your outfit pic before heading out 😂! Utilities were very good also. Hair dryer wasn’t a cheap crappy one either ! Gary the night manager is such a lovely man. He was very kind to me and cousin while we stayed in the hotel. He is such a gent and was very caring.

Small hotel with a great location, overlooking the docks. 15 minute walk away from city centre. McDonald's and KFC across the road. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. Giving clear information on attractions and restaurants. The rooms are small, with small bathrooms, but well equipped and very clean
