A beautiful boutique hotel in a lovely and peaceful location. Although the price is quite high — perhaps even too high for what is offered — I sincerely hope it will be reviewed in the future. That said, the experience was warm and comforting, and it truly felt like home. The front desk staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, especially Mai and Yu (I hope I spelled their names correctly). These two ladies were absolutely wonderful and made my stay feel extra special.

FAQs about hotels in Boston

Where Everybody Knows Your Name

One of the oldest and most historic US cities, Boston is known as "America’s Walking City". In its heart, next to 18th-century Faneuil Hall, is Quince Market - a food haven. In the nearby seaport, you can take a whale-watching trip or dine at one of the many restaurants serving a Boston specialty: lobster with melted butter.

The streets south of the peaceful Charles River in Back Bay are lined with Victorian brownstone houses. At the downtown end of one – Beacon Street – is the Cheers bar, modeled on the 80's sitcom. Opposite is Boston Common, a large park with a bronze sculpture celebrating the book "Make Way for Ducklings". The golden dome of the House of Representatives is by the other end.

The oldest part is Charlestown and streets around the Bunker Hill obelisk still feature old-style gas lamps, though now they are electric. Over in Cambridge, Harvard is the USA’s oldest and most prestigious university. The campus is open to the public, as is Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), whose central point is an emblematic, Pantheon-like building.

Sport in Boston is also a big thing, with the Celtics and Red Sox among the city’s big name teams.

The largest New England city, Boston has the perfect size for walking and cycling. Logan International Airport is connected by public transport to Boston hotels, motels, apartments and B&Bs.

Boston is an easy city to get around as the underground and buses are convenient and frequent. You can access many trips from here and I really enjoyed my ferry trip and tour to Salem. Friendly city which has a really safe feel to it with many great bakeries and Quincy market has a variety of food vendors.

I went for business but I took advantage and walked from my Hotel to Harvard, then to the Navy Yard, a short ferry ride and walk over to the Institute of Contemporary Art. Took a Lyft to the Boston Central Library. That was all Fantastic. The following day I walked over to the Boston Architectural College and then to the Library where I held the Zoom Conference. Afterward walked over to Cheers then back to the Hotel. My final day in Boston I walked Brighton to Commonwealth, so beautiful then over to the park and State House. Boston was pleasantly beautiful.

A very comfortable city easy to walk around and felt safe and welcoming. Highlights were the JFK library and the Harvard tour. Also did the Freedom trail tour. Didn't get to any games given timing but all in all a really enjoyable city to visit

A truly beautiful, walkable city that we love.

A truly beautiful, walkable city that we love. In two long weekends of going full-out walking and sightseeing, we've really only seen about 1/3 of what we'd like to eventually see. We first visited in early December - cold but truly lovely; and this time the end of May to June - perfect weather. Fave restaurants: Neptune Oyster, Saltie Girl, Harvest in Cambridge, Tatte Bakery & Coffee for breakfast. We also enjoyed Mamma Maria and Luka. Walking is the preferred method of getting around and very accessible; Ubers are very easy when the distances are further or the legs are giving out. Favorite bookstores: Beacon Hill for the charm, Posman Books on Newbury & Harvard Books for the selection; the new Lovestruck in Cambridge for the quirky fun genre theme; and of course the famous Brattle and Commonwealth for used books. Nicest local boutiques: Matsu on Charles, and Soodee on Newbury and Charles. The MFA can suck an entire day - its enormous.

Boston seemed to be a clean, well-tended city.

Boston seemed to be a clean, well-tended city. The Paul Revere House was worth the visit, as were the Museum of Fine Arts and Harvard University, where we also visited the Art Museum. Newbury Street in the Back Bay area is great for shopping. In terms of restaurants, I would recommend Row 34 for fish, including great oysters, crab and lobster, and Yankee Lobster for a great lobster roll.

Perfect location for the cruise terminal and the site of the Boston Tea Party Museum. Very convenient for the Seaport waterfront. We had been to Boston before and had already seen the Downtown area in great detail and had no need to visit it again. The hotel is very close to many shops, cafes and restaurants but also has its own restaurant which was good and not expensive. The hotel had a good gym and a decent sized swimming pool.

I fretted about where to stay in Boston with a quick in-and-out (arrival evening, departure 7 a.m. next day) so I opted for this airport hotel. I was a single traveler so didn't expect much but a decent bed. But I had a whole suite to myself! Luxury for a tired over-the-Atlantic traveler -- what a lovely unexpected treat!

The view over Causeway Street was incredible. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location to TD Garden as well as other Boston highlights cannot be beaten. This is easily one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The modern tech in the room was a big bonus too.
