Really enjoyed this tour. Vasil is a great tour guide and keeps your attention throughout. Even as someone who doesn’t hold much interest in history, learning about Bulgarias communist past really brings the city to life and gives you an understanding of why Sofia is where it is now. Would definitely recommend!

good day trip, some of the best frescoes I've ever seen, you can do a small hike around. i wouldn't recommend visiting museums, not much to see. you have to decide between eating to restaurant, hike or museums - you don't have time to do all of them

Alex was nice to chat with and was informative about the wine varieties. Good endemic wine grapes and tells you about each region! He also has some nice cheese, ham and chocolate. Stop by.

overall good experience, however, we had an hour on our own to explore the fortress, which I believe is too much, while the area is very beautiful, there is not much to explore.

Toni was great , it is a small group so everyone felt treated, rila is a beautiful place and the guide was informative , definitely recommend.
