Location was only 10 min walk to central Main Street of shopping and restaurant/ cafe.. the breakfast was huge with all kinds of options from hot to cold dishes.. there was a big supermarket right across the street which was convenient. The rooms are actually roomy and quiet too. And the reception service at check in was so fast and easy.

Great location, friendly staff, room was everything we needed - just a place to sleep at night while spending time around the city. Very close to the train station and felt safe when we walked back at night. The room felt clean enough.

Stately Stuttgart is friendly and green. Surrounding the city are tree-lined hills, while in the center is the ‘Green U’, a series of parks and gardens that make great picnic spots.
The city’s focal point, Schlossplatz is a huge square with a tall column marking the entrance to the New Palace. Dating back to the 10th century, the city’s Old Palace is just opposite and its square is the site of the Stuttgart Christmas markets.
In the Bad Cannstatt area of Stuttgart are mineral spas, the 2nd largest in Europe behind Budapest. Just south of here is what the city is perhaps best known for – its car industry. Head to the architecturally-impressive Mercedes-Benz World for a spiraling walk through its history. On the opposite side of the city is the Porsche Museum, also worth a look.
Always something of a pioneer, the city erected the world’s first TV tower. Go to the top for amazing views. Other interesting Stuttgart attractions are the planetarium, and Stuttgart Zoo, housed in the Wilhelma Palace, built in Moorish style and once home to royals.
Before heading to Stuttgart Airport from your Booking.com hotel, apartment or B&B, make sure that you try some local Swabian food. The brezel (pretzel) originated here and makes a very tasty snack.

First, I went to Stuttgart partly because I know people there, and it was nice to meet them again.
As for the city, this was not my first trip, so the only place I had not yet seen and I visited was the Weinbau Museum in the village of Uhlbach (part of Stuttgart), a really nice place. From my memories of previous trips, I would recommend the Kunstmuseum, the Württembergisches Landesmuseum in the old castle, the Stadtmuseum (free of charge), the Linden Museum (an ethnographic museum that endeavours to go beyond colonialism and questions the older ethnocentric approaches) and the Mercedes-Benz Museum. The Stiftskirche is really beautiful.
-This time, I visited Esslingen (a city older than Stuttgart and within the radius of Stuttgart's public transit) which is a jewel of a historic city with magnificent churches. I also visited Reutlingen (a little further afield).
-The public transit system is really efficient and reaches far beyond the city centre. Since I was there for a full week, I purchased the Wochenticket which offers free circulation for 7 days in U-Bahn, S-Bahn, buses and even cable car, and I took 2 zones, which allowed me to reach Esslingen and Gerlingen - for 2 zones, it's 35.80 euros a week, really good value.

My first visit to Germany and Stuttgart was superb.
My first visit to Germany and Stuttgart was superb. Excellent museums for all tastes, visited Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and the Stuttgart Tram museums. The Technikpark at Sinsheim is a short train ride away - you could spend a week in that place alone.
Castles, palaces, historic art deco modernist housing projects - you name it, Stuttgart has it. The excellent transport network of trams, trains and buses makes it quick and easy to get around. I went for 8 days. You could probably go for 8 weeks and not see everything.

Stuttgart look like an old modern town from the years 50's. The train station is in reconstruction and is a totally mess in the area. A lot of reconstructions in the town. I don' t strongly recommend a trip in this town.

The city is nice and super clean. The Old Town area is amazing! so beautiful and well organised. The Mercedes Benz Museum is the top Museum ever. The zoo is fantastic. Good parking system and an Underground. The roads are a bit funny made ans quite busy. All together is a nice city worth visiting.

Not really what I expected, to be honest, didn't really like the city. It had some old buildings, but generally looks like a business center/city. Too many new modern buildings and I wouldn't visit a city for car museums and stuff, it's nice for me, but not very interesting for my wife.
It's not for me and my wife, but I'm sure there are people who would love it.

Stuttgart is an industrial city, located in a valley, which makes it a bit warmer weather and greener city, than many of the surrounding areas. Porsche, Mercedes Benz, and Bosch are all headquartered there, with some touring capabilities. There is public transportation, the architecture is charming. I was in Stuttgart to visit a relative, and was pleasantly surprised by the city and lifestyle.
Evidently, summer is best the time to go, and the food is considered some of the best in the area. The people were friendly and sociable. The Christmas Markets were crowded, but people were polite and mingled quietly, with lots of interesting and beautifully made booths to shop for local crafts and delicacies.

Location is perfect, one metro stop from the train station and two stops from the city center. The national library is located right in front of the hotel and there is a very nice shopping center 100 meters from the hotel. Many Italian restaurants outside the hotel as well. The hotel is very clean and modern. Staff is very nice.
we were in Germany for the first time, we liked your country and this hotel so much that we decided to stay in this hotel for one more night. The hotel staff are very nice people, we had a late flight, but they allowed us to keep our luggage and we had the opportunity to walk around Stuttgart for a few more hours
I liked everything very much, the rooms are very nice, everything is new, spacious. It's a 15 minute walk to the city center and train station, or 1 stop by metro, 2 stops to the center. The subway entrance itself is a few steps away from the hotel entrance. Very quiet, good noise insulation. The staff is nice
Vers stylish new and modern hotel with fantastic beds. I rarely sleep as well in hotels as I did here. Staff at check in was very friendly and welcoming. Close to the subway and just a quick 5 min ride from the city center. Beautiful views of the city.
