The breakfast was fresh and good. Our group found something we were happy to eat, including kids. The location could not be better. The service was great and went above and beyond. Every view from this hotel is beautiful.

The place was fantastic! It was so cool and fun. My only regret is that we had a short stay. If I ever have the opportunity to return, I’ll definitely stay there again.

Ready to climb up and down stairs in the whole journey in Sintra. It used a lot of energy but it is worth to do it because this place is very beautiful. I would suggest staying two nights rather than only one night in this place, a long queue will take up a long time, you can't finish all the beautiful scenery in only two hours for one attraction spot.
If you just want to stay one day in Sintra, only go to Quinta da Regaleira is enough . Compare to other places, this is the best.

I'd thoroughly recommend Sintra to people that like walking, gardens and history. We spent 4 nights there which I felt was ideal. Everything was in walking distance, as long as you don't mind walking up some hills! I wouldn't suggest it as a destination for those with mobility issues as you would miss out a lot. From the historic centre you can easily walk up to the Moorish Castle, Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, Monserrate Palace, the National Palace and Biester Palace. All of the palaces are very different with beautiful gardens that are worth exploring. Biester Palace is not listed in many of the guides but is beautiful, with lush gardens and a good tearoom - great to spend an afternoon in away from the crowds of Sintra.
There's a wide variety of restaurants to eat in. Our two favourites were Incomum and Bacalhau na Vila - I'd recommend booking in advance for both of these.

Sintra is magical and worth a visit of a day or two, you can find nice food and fun bars, and the sightseeing is remarkable. Getting around town is challenging. It is very hilly, and the traffic is horrible. The city could benefit from stopping tourists from entering with a car. But that will be challenging due to the hilly terrain. Be sure to make reservations in advance for sites you want to enter. Consider the off-season and hope for fewer crowds. Just be aware that during the cold and rainy season that much of the beauty of Sintra lies in its gardens, so bundle up and wear rain gear.

I loved how relaxing it was.
I loved how relaxing it was. It was our first holiday with a little baby so it wasn't too full on. Yes some areas are very hilly and might be hard with a buggy but we made it work. Luckily our baby is 7 months so we had her in the baby carrier when we visited attractions.

Sintra is a beautiful town with lots of historic things to see and many gorgeous overlooks. I was only there for one day, and I wish I'd been there two or three days.
I'm still not sure the best way to get around. We had a rental car, but driving was not particularly fun because the roads are so confusing, steep, and narrow, plus then we had to deal with parking and charging. On the other hand, I'm not sure if we could have gone everywhere we wanted to go by foot. Perhaps we will split the difference next time and take Ubers to the places we can't walk to

By far, one of the most unique and beautiful places ever.
By far, one of the most unique and beautiful places ever. There's so much to visit, to walk in the forest, to explore, it's beautiful and a rather encapsulating experience. What I didn't like was the amount of tourists there were there, far too many, far too condensed, took away from the place.e

You actually live in a palace !!! The big bonus is the peaceful gardens and spectacular views.
This is a luxury boutique hotel with only 9 rooms that gave an opportunity to meet and make new friends.
We loved the "happy hour" of 6:30 pm and the peaceful atmosphere at breakfast.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, but very young, and some of them lack experience (or guidance ...)
Beautiful boutique hotel service with grand design and special rooms. The staff were incredible, very attentive, flexible/ true five star service. The location is right in the centre of Sintra and perfect for exploring.
An excellent hotel. Great attention to detail, staff are extremely attentive and charming. Food was some of the best food we ate on our two week holiday across Portugal. Highly recommend.
I did not get to stay at the sintra bliss Hotel. I booked it but they cancelled my booking and I was moved to the Sintra Boutique Hotel, which was lovely but not what I booked.
